Instructions |
|
1.
Adhere background paper to your coaster (use a glue stick or Xyron
machine). Trim off excess paper.
2.
Adhere your ARTchix image to your coaster. (Remember to leave space
around the edges for the confetti).
3.
Starting at the top center, poke holes about 1" apart,
around the edges of the coaster with an awl or T-pin.
4. Go
around the bare edge of the coaster with a permanent marker or paint.
5.
Tape the beading thread to the back of the coaster with removal tape,
leave about a 3" tail. Come up through the first hole,
add a
piece of confetti, and an E bead. Anchor by picking up a seed bead and going back
down through the E bead, confetti and punched hole. Proceed to the next
hole. Repeat all the way around the coaster until each hole is done.
When complete tie the thread ends in a secure knot. Secure with a dot of
glue.
6.
Fold the 6" piece of ribbon in half and glue to the back of the coaster.
Glue a button over the ribbon ends for a finished look. A hot glue gun
works great for this step.
7.
To finish off your ornament add any ARTchix art bits, embellishments, words, etc.
your desire.
