Impress yourself and friends with this gorgeous cardboard house! It's great as a special gift for loved ones, a decorative container for gifts or candies, or just as a piece of art decorating your living room, art room and more! 
 

Decide on a house theme and select your collage images, embellishments and acrylic colors accordingly. I laid my art bits onto the sides of the Cardboard House first and experimented with the layouts. This project would also be neat using family photos and creating a symbolic little house with your ancestors and family members.

Lay Cardboard House flat and paint with a coat of ivory and green acrylic paints for the background.

Roof #1
Attach Vintage Liquor Label with Yes glue. Glue on the butterfly woman image from the Up and Away transparency sheet with a UHU glue stick. Attach a strip of Gold Medieval Border with Yes glue. Attach Copper Heishis with Diamond Glaze. Punch holes into the bottom edges and attach gold eyelets. Cut off 2 pieces of Hand Dyed Ribbon - Artist's Palette and thread through loops in Book Charm and Oval Locket. Then thread the Hand Dyed Ribbon - Artist's Palette through the eyelets in the Cardboard House (I used a toothpick to push the ribbon through the hole) and tie in a knot. Embellish Oval Locket with images from the Mini Mix collage sheet with a UHU glue stick.

Roof #2
Glue on Vintage Liquor Label and butterfly image from the Garden Collage Sheet Collection with Yes glue. Glue on a bird image from the In the Garden transparency sheet with a UHU glue stick. Attach Gold Large Flower border with Yes glue. Poke 2 holes with needle and attach Filigree Drop with red thread. Punch holes into bottom edges and attach gold eyelets. Cut off 2 pieces of Hand Dyed Ribbon - Artist's Palette and thread through loops of the House Charm and telephone charm. Then thread the Hand Dyed Ribbon - Artist's Palette through the eyelets in the Cardboard House (I used a toothpick to push the ribbon through the hole) and tie in a knot.

Side #1
Glue on scraps of German vintage paper and Vintage Ledger Pages. Paint on a wash of green acrylic paint. Dry brush with pink acrylic paint. Rubber stamp on flower images with pink Brilliance ink pad. Attach women image from the Art Nouveau collage sheet and building image from Architecture collage sheets behind windows. Cut small strips of double sided tape and attach to edges of transparent text from Read Me transparency sheet. Attach Golden Small Flower Border with double sided tape outside of top window. Attach image from Her Wish  transparency image with double sided tape over bottom window. Glue on butterfly and girl with bird images from Garden Collage Sheet Collection and woman and fairy image from Wings of Fancy collage sheet. Attach woman image from Her Wish transparency sheet to top of side (will go behind Brass Classical Frame) with UHU glue stick. Attach Brass Classical Frame with Diamond Glaze. Glue “In the Garden” text from In the Garden transparency sheet onto Brass Oval with UHU glue stick. Poke holes and attach Brass Oval with red thread. Poke holes and attach Garden Charms and Brass Arrow Charm with red thread.

Side #2
Glue piece of Vintage Ledger Page onto side and attach Vintage Cigar Strips. Dry brush with ivory acrylic paint. Punch hole into Pink/ Moss Velvet Leaf. Punch holes and attach image from Her Wish transparency sheet with Aged Copper Mini Brads and Velvet Leaf to bottom left side.
Cut out letters from Cool Type and Metal Type collage sheets to spell "beauty" and glue on right side.

Side #3
Glue German vintage text scraps and Vintage Cigar Strips onto side and dry brush with vintage green and pink acrylic paints. Attach image from Exotic Jewels collage sheet behind window. Cut out letters from Miami type collage sheet and glue on to spell out "artist." Glue on image from I am an Artist collage sheet. Punch holes and attach transparent text image from To From transparency sheet with Aged Copper Mini Brads. Attach butterfly image from Garden Collage Sheet Collection with UHU glue stick.

Side #4
Glue on German vintage text scraps and dry brush with green and pink acrylic paints. Cut out letters from MiamiType collage sheet and glue behind Nailhead Frames - Gold Circles to spell out "family." Punch Nailhead Frames through cardboard and flatten back ends with pliers. Paint Nailhead Frames with vintage green and pink acrylic paints. Attach images from All My Love, My Dear Mother and Wings of Fancy collage sheets behind windows. Add a layer of transparent text from To From transparency sheet sandwiched between the collage sheet images and the inner cardboard windows. Attach Gold Lace Border with double sided tape around windows. Glue door image from Architecture Collage Sheet Collection onto cardboard door. Attach images from It's Raining Men and My Dear Mother collage sheets. Poke holes and attach Heart Charm, Brass Key Charm and Brass Word Tags with red thread. Glue on Brass Gears with Diamond Glaze.

Carefully fold the house together according to folding instructions (included with the Cardboard House) and enjoy!
