Class Description

Turn our Silver DreamBoxes into gorgeous necklaces! The simplest way is to find your image, cut it to size, drop it into the frame with a small dab of glue to secure it and slide it onto a chain.

Or you can follow these instructions so that it all flows together perfectly.
 
ARTchix Studio Supplies General Supplies and Tools
 DreamBoxes: Hand, Oval or House personal photo or tiny handmade collage Assorted beads
Mini Delights collage sheet Chain, ribbon, leather cord or ready made necklace Sterling head pins
  Clasp Jump rings
  Chipboard, approx. 1.5 mm thick Tweezers
  Metal ruler or Xacto knife Cutting mat
  Acetate Scissors
  Glue Pencil or pen
  Black or silver Sharpie pen Needle nose pliers
  Round nose pliers Flat nose pliers
Instructions
1. Dotted lines on pattern correspond to the viewing window of the image once it is placed into the pendant. Trace pattern onto clear acetate including the horizontal dotted lines and cut out entire pattern shape. Place acetate over desired image and slide around until you are pleased with the image in the “window”. Trace around outside edges of acetate and cut out your image.

2. Trace pattern onto mat board and cut out using mat or Xacto knife. Use a Sharpie pin to color the cut edges of the mat board. Glue image to mat board and slip into pendant/pin. If you like, you can make an image on each side and switch them. If you need to remove the mat board, the tweezers make it easy.

3. Slip chain, ribbon or leather cord through loop at back of pendant and attach clasp with jump rings using assorted pliers. Make assorted bead charms with head pins and attach to chain with jump rings or wire them on.
