Oh, how cool is this little dresser made out of matchboxes?! You can create one to store your precious pieces of jewelry or fill it with your very own handmade ARTchix jewelry! What an amazing gift this would make for someone really special.
 

Dresser
Paint two matchboxes silver and one red.  When dry, rubber stamp outside boxes & inside drawers with miscellaneous words. Then glue 3 matchboxes together with a strip of heavy cardstock wrapped around them as shown.

Attach ARTchix Studio Black French Netting to top. And glue on beads for legs on the bottom.  Glue a business magnet to the top and line with micro beads so that it looks like a tray.

Attach an ARTchix Studio Copper Hand to a length of ribbon, then attach to inner box with a brad, for all 3 boxes.

Using ARTchix Studio Microscope Glass Slides, attach images from the ARTchix Studio Flirt Collage Sheet so an image is seen from the front and from the back. Attach a length of magnet to the bottom, eyelash trim to the top, then add more micro beads.

Dresser accoutrements
 To make a faux compact, attach an ARTchix Studio Clear Page Pebble - Circle, Medium to an image from the ARTchix Studio Circle Pix Collage Sheet and attach to a mirror tile.  Glue magnet to the bottom.

To make the faux "mannequin" head in the center, attach an ARTchix Studio Brass Sunburst Halo to an ARTchix Studio Silver Face Bead and glue to a mirror tile.  Glue a magnet to the bottom and fill the Sunburst Halo with micro beads.

To make a faux lipstick, fill a glass vial with micro beads.  Glue to a mirror tile and glue a magnet to the bottom.  Glue an ARTchix Studio Red Metal Rose to the glass vial and glue a rhinestone on top of the cork.

Inside the dresser
Sew up little "pillows" for each drawer and then follow our easy peasy instructions to make ARTchix Studio rings, bracelets and necklaces.
