ThermOWeb PEEL n STICK Adhesive sheets (size 5 ½ x 8 ¾ ) The amount depends on the size of your shade. The 2 pack will usually cover a small to small-medium size shade.

 ThermOWeb ¼ inch PEEL n STICK Adhesive Tape

 

 Vellum scraps (unknown)
Metal Flakes by Gildenglitz Matching trim for bottom and top of shade Beads by the yard- (enough yardage to fit the bottom of the shade)
Instructions:
1. ThermOWeb PEEL n STICK paper is VERY sticky and in order to get a nice flat adhesion, it is better to work with smaller pieces, about 3 in. by 4 in. or smaller. Peel back the adhesive part of the sheet and cover as much of the shade as possible. You can fill in the blank areas later. Leave the backing on until you have most of the shade covered.

2. Peel off a section at a time and cover with transparent images. I find it easier this way, however you may prefer to have the entire shade STICKY and ready to decorate. It’s okay to have spaces; you can fill them in later with adhesive pieces and cut out images to overlap. If the adhesive wrinkles a bit, no worry, it still looks great and it just adds to the collage effect.

3. After you have covered almost the entire shade, you might end up with a few small blank spaces. Press bits of Metal Flakes into the adhesive and gently rub off excess, thus leaving tiny specs of glitter and shimmer.

4. Adhere the ¼ in. Adhesive Tape to the bottom edge of the shade. Attach the Beads by the yard.

5. Cover the edge of the beading with a decorative trim.

Voila! A beautiful addition to any dark corner!

NOTE: MAKE SURE TO USE A LOW WATT LIGHT BULB!!  NEVER LEAVE YOUR LAMP TURNED ON WHILE UNATTENDED!
