Cover tin (inside and out) with gold and black paint using a sponging technique. Let dry well. All of the black scrap will be aged and colored up using the following method: Cut pieces and shapes that you think you will use. Dab the ink from a Gold Leafing pen on to your finger and quickly and lightly brush across the black scrap pieces.

Cut out the Doorway and back it with a sheet of black cardstock. Attach colored up baroque borders to the sides of the doorway. Adhere this door piece to the inside back of the tin.

Adhere the Gold Baroque Borders to the edges of the tin. Make sure they are all facing in towards the center. Adhere the “aged” black borders to the edges overlapping the gold borders. These are facing OUTWARD.

Add the wings, and the top and bottom of the embellishments to the piece. Attach the buttons to all corners and the key to the side. Add the aged mesh to the right corners of the pierce. Cut 2 gold stars in half and adhere them to corners of the piece.

Make a “header” with the eyes and frame it with aged black lace border. Frame it with Gold Baroque borders and attach it to the top if the piece.

Strengthen the images for the inside by adhering them to piece of black cardstock before cutting them out. To make little stands for the ladies simply bend a small piece of cardstock in the shape of the letter “L. Attach the tallest part to the back of the image and the shortest part to bottom inside of the tin.

Add the lady image to the left side of the piece and attach her crown.

Add a wire hanger to the back and enjoy!
