Class Description

These are two awesome Artist Trading Cards that you can make.

This Ol’ House collage sheet	Nail Head Frames

Instructions for Dreaming ATC

1. Cut out a piece of light weight cardboard 2.5 x 3.5 “.
2. Cover the cardboard with an old book page.
3. In a few places, smear on cream, brown and black paint.
4. Cut out picture of a house from This Ol’ House collage sheet and burn the edges with an incense stick. Glue on.
5. Cut out a transparency of a label from the Begin transparency sheet and glue a page number onto it and glue on cardboard.
6. Sponge paint the Brass File Label Holder with black, gold and copper paint.
7. Find a transparency of a face that fits in the nameplate. I used an image from the Bliss transparency sheet.
8. Make sure the transparency face will show by gluing it on a piece of light colored paper with writing on it. Glue in place.
9. Attach Brass File Label Holder with Antique Copper Mini Brads.
10. Cut out black mesh ribbon and attach with Black Mini Brads. (The mesh ribbon can easily be sanded for a matte finish and can be painted.)
11. Glue on word “dreaming”.

Instructions for Happy ATC

1. Cut out a piece of light cardboard 2.5 x 3.5”
2. Cover the cardboard with an old book page.
3. Glue on labels.
4. Cut out a transparency of a girl from the Little One transparency sheet and glue on to the left side.
5. Cut out a building and car image from the Let’s Go collage sheet and Architecture collage sheet collection. Glue on.
6. Cut out a small postal letter from the Found Papers collage sheet collection and glue on label.
7. Cut out the word “happy” from the Tell Me transparency sheet and glue on.
8. Dab on a wash of brown paint here and there.
9. Edge card with gold and black paint.
10. Wipe black paint on the Nail Head Frame - Gold Circle and wipe off leaving some black paint on.
11. Add nail head to collage. The cardboard that I was using was too thick for the nail head to go through. So, I pressed it on the cardboard so that the prongs would make a mark on it. Then I took a craft knife and cut slits for the prongs. Then the nail head attached easily.
