From the ARTchix Colorful Whimsy Collage Sheet, choose one of the four images which have flowers as skirts and hats.  Trim around the four edges of the chosen image.  Make one copy.

Instructions for the Pocket
Cut two pieces of cardstock 4 ½ inches wide by 5 ½ inches tall.

Find a piece of decorative paper which coordinates with the colors in the Colorful Whimsy image you have chosen.  (Note: a solid color or slight pattern works best as you will be embossing on this paper.)  Cut a 4 ½ inch by 5 ½ inch piece of the paper.

Glue the paper to the top of one of the pieces of cardstock.  This will be the front of the pocket.

Coat the rubber stamp with watermark stamp ink (Versa Mark brand works well). Stamp around three edges of the pocket front, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat with a heat gun until the powder is set.

Center the Colorful Whimsey rectangular image on the embossed paper and glue it in place.

Cut a 4 ½" strip of ARTchix gold German Scrap border and glue it to the top of the pocket front.

Cut a 9 inch strip of narrow ribbon or fiber.  Glue the ends of the ribbon to the top outer edges of the non-decorated side of the pocket top.

Glue the pocket front to the 4 ½ x 5 ½ in cardstock rectangle, wrong sides together, leaving the top edge open.

Instructions for the Fairy
Glue the image you copied from Colorful Whimsy to a piece of cardstock.

Cut out the flower girl.

Use a gold Krylon pen to color the back of the cut out image.

Draw and cut out a pair of wings to fit the flower girl.  Color both sides of the wings with gold Krylon pen.

Glue the wings to the back of the flower girl to transform her into a flower fairy.

Insert her into the open top of the pocket.
