Class Description

If you want to have a really beautiful paperweight or just a little treasure to make a lovely gift, here is a little stone changed into a special art object. It's very simple (even for beginners) and very quickly made.
 
General Supplies and Tools
A flat white stone. (This one is quite little, only 2,5 x 3 cm (1” x 1.18”), I found it while on a walk with my children)
 		 Alcohol inks: “Stream” “lettuce” and blending solution + application tool
 		 Circle Pix Collage Sheet + circle punch
Black 3D gel roller Matte gel medium
 
Varnish
 		 Little paint brush  
Instructions:
1. Wash the stone well and let dry.

2. Cut out the ARTchix image with a circle punch.

3. Apply matte gel medium on the middle of the stone with a paint brush and stick the image face down onto the stone. With a bone folder, burnish the surface of the image well...to make sure that the image is completely adhered to the stone. Let it dry. Soak the image in water and rub off the back of the paper using your fingers.

4. On an alcohol ink application tool, pour a few drops of lettuce and stream alcohol ink and blending solution. Apply on the stone all around the collage image and on the back of the stone.

5. Make little dots all around the image with the black 3D gel roller.

6. Apply 2 or 3 coats of varnish to protect the entire stone. Let it dry well between each coat.

It's done! You made it! : )
