Class Description
I came up with these projects so my two teenagers and I could share some art time together.  Once we got started, we had a wonderful time sharing and creating some wearable and sharable art!  We made all these art samples together :)
 

Class #1:  Quick & Easy Rings
Great for Birthday party grab bags, gifts for school friends or just for fun! Embellish your gifts with personalized rings using people’s initials- just slip some pretty ribbon through the ring and tie onto the gift! Now you know who gets which gift it you lose the tag!

General Supplies and Tools

Diamond glaze

E6000 glue

Paper flowers
Blank wood bingo marker ˝ inch hole punch page pebbles
     
Instructions:
1. Punch out desired images from collage sheets.
2. Glue images to paper flowers, bingo markers or leaves.
3. Cover images with page pebbles or diamond glaze to protect.
4. Attach finished assemblage to ring top with E6000 and let dry overnight

Class #2:  Quick & Easy Memory Frame Pendants & Ornaments

Instructions:
1. Cut out desired images to frame size (I like to trace around the glass inserts). Remember the frames are double sided so pick two images or use a background paper with a transparency.
2. Cut out desired words or phrases.
3. Fit images between the glass inserts and lock into the frame.
4. Add colored ribbon or chord for necklace or a shorter loop for an ornament.

Voila! You have the perfect gift for a special teacher, schoolmate or last minute party invite.

Class #3:  Quick & Easy DreamBox Desk Frames or Pendants

Black Baroque Borders
 

 Black Crowns  
General Supplies and Tools
Acrylic paints Colored ribbon Bling
Scissors Paintbrush Diamond glaze
Glue stick
 		 Corrugated cardboard Rubbing alcohol
Instructions:
1. Clean DreamBox with rubbing alcohol.
2. Paint a bright, fun color- set aside to dry- may need second coat of paint.
3. Cut out desired images to fit DreamBox frames.
4. Embellish with German scrap.
5. Stick image to piece of cardboard cut to size.
6. Slide into back of frame.
7. Embellish frame with German scrap or any bling you have lying around.
8. Add colorful ribbon if desired.

Done! Now you have a fun desk frame or wall hanging to brighten your room! Small DreamBoxes can be worn as pendants too.

Class #4:  Quick & Easy Birdhouses

Watercolor Crayons Paintbrush Scissors
Glue Stick
 		 Twigs & Grass - optional  
Instructions:
1. Rub watercolor crayons (using the horizontal side) over the entire outside surface of the house. Layer as many fun colors as you like! The crayons will color the ridges in the cardboard darker making it look like real wood.
2. Wet a wide bristle paintbrush and drag over the surface blending the colors slightly- trying to leave it looking like a natural wood surface.
3. Set aside and let dry.
4. Cut out fun images from the collage sheet remembering to use smaller images to fill the windows and doors (leave yourself room to apply the glue around the edges).
5. When house is dry, flip it over and glue the bird images into the window and door openings. Do this part before you assemble your house!
6. Cover the outside of the house with the rest of your cut out birds- remember that you will still need to fold the house to assemble it. This can be done after the house is assembled as well.
7. Fold the house according to the instructions that come with it.
8. Add cut out words and phrases to glue on wherever you like.
9. Have some more fun and embellish with twigs and grass as well to make your birdhouse look homey!

You are done and now you have a fun table centerpiece for an outdoor picnic or BBQ! If you are feeling ambitious, hang a bunch of them on a sting or make a mobile! Make them seasonal and have different birdhouses to decorate your home all year around- looks cool on a Christmas tree!

Class #5:  Quick & Easy Bracelets

Time After Time Collage Sheet Ball Chain Necklaces, Brass Ball Chain Necklaces, Black
Spinning Arrows (For Watch Face Bracelet)
 		    
General Supplies and Tools
Brass Jump Rings Assorted Bling 1 Inch Hole Punch
Jewelry Or Needle Nose Pliers
 		 Glue Stick E6000
Instructions:
1. Punch out desired images from collage sheets.
2. Apply glue stick to image back and center on the bass plate- press firmly to adhere.
3. Place donut ring over top and line up small holes for the jump rings.
4. Open jump rings with pliers and thread through both rings to hold the two brass circles together. Close jump rings with pliers.
5. Add any desired bling or bead dangles to face of bracelet or off jump rings.
6. Cut 14-16 inches of ball chain- use double what the wrist measurement is.
7. Thread ball chain through both jump rings and close with connector.

There you have it- some fun bling to wear all year round or give as a gift to a special friend!
