And your art may be selected to be included on our website for all to enjoy. We wish we could post every piece we receive but due to time and space constraints, we're not able to post all submissions.
How and Where To Send Us Your Art
Email scans to artwork@artchixstudio.com. Be sure to send us each entry as an attachment, do NOT embed the photos into the body of your email. In the subject line of your email, please include the word "gallery." In the body of your email, please list all ARTchix Studio products that were used in your piece.
Our Desired File Format
JPEG/jpg file 72 dpi PC format 500 pixels at tallest or widest point White background preferred Please do NOT put any spaces, dashes or punctuation in your file name Name your file like this: FirstNameLastName_ TitleOfArtwork (For example: HelgaStrauss_ILoveParis.jpg)
A Free and Easy Way to Resize Your Files
A free and easy program to use is IrfanView. You can download it at http://www.irfanview.com/ Once you've installed IrfanView: Open your image using IrfanView Select Image -> Resize/Resample From the Resize/Resample dialog box: Select "set new size" Set your height or width to a maximum of 500 pixels Set DPI to 72 Click OK Then select File -> Save As to open the save dialog box: Choose a "save quality" of 40 Save as a progressive JPG
