These little DreamBoxes make awesome gifts!
Pull together everything you are going to use to paint your ARTchix Inchie DreamBox - these alcohol inks are fun and easy to use with the blending solution and easy applicator.
Prep DreamBox with alcohol inks using the applicator- it's fun to layer all of the different colors!
Remember to let it dry before applying the next layer so that you can see all of the beautiful colors come through!
A Q-tip works well as an applicator too- great for getting into those smaller spaces.
Now your mini DreamBox has some lovely layers of color- inside and out! Let dry for a few minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Time to add some inspirational images! Our inchie sheets are fabulous for these little DreamBoxes- just the right size to cut and paste inside. Shannon used Mini Delights in this beautiful DreamBox. Embellish with some art charms (like our Mini Dragonflies shown here - we have a whole selection of these cute mini brass charms!), and German scrap embellishments.
Finish off with some inspirational words or quotes from our Tell Me a Story series and some dabs of pretty acrylic paints.
Have fun with different colors and images! You will want to make more and more!
Another fun idea is to glue German scrap Tiny Dot borders to the outside doors to give a shuttered window effect. These can be colored to match using the alcohol inks!
